Zensho Holdings Co., Ltd. and its domestic group companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Zensho Group") have established a "Personal Information Protection Policy" in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. This policy applies to all companies within Zensho Group.

Acquisition and use of personal information

Each company within Zensho Group will publicly announce or notify the purpose of use when acquiring personal information. Furthermore, when acquiring personal information directly from the individual through contracts or other documents (including electronic records), the purpose of use will be clearly stated in advance. Personal information will not be used for any purpose other than those stated without the individual's consent. In addition, personal information will be used appropriately within the scope necessary to achieve the stated purpose.

Provision of personal data to third parties

Zensho Group companies will not provide personal data they have received to third parties except in the following cases:

  • If prior consent has been obtained from the person concerned.
  • When outsourcing to other Zensho Group companies or other external parties to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
  • When required to provide by law
  • When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent.
  • In cases where it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned.
  • When it is necessary for the national or local government, etc., to carry out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the person's consent would likely hinder the performance of those duties.
  • When providing information within the scope of joint users notified or publicly announced by each company.

Procedures for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of personal data held by the company

Each company within Zensho Group will respond without delay to requests from individuals for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their personal data held by the company, except in cases where doing so would significantly disrupt Zensho Group's operations or pose a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights of an individual.

Proper management of personal information

Zensho Group has established the "Group Personal Information Protection Regulations," built an internal organizational structure based on these regulations, and takes reasonable security measures, including corrective and preventive actions, regarding risks such as unauthorized access to personal information or the loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information.

Compliance with laws and other regulations concerning personal information

All officers and employees of Zensho Group will comply with laws and regulations concerning personal information.

Zensho Group will continuously improve its personal information protection practices in accordance with changes in social conditions and the environment.
