I would like to know about your job rotation system.

Job rotation means to assign employees to various jobs and departments in accordance with the Human Resources Development Plan to provide them opportunities to experience different types of work. A generalist’s job title and content change when he/she passes a promotion test that is conducted every three months. An employee can move to a supporting post or to another group company by leveraging his/her management ability that has been developed through multi-store work experience.

What training programs do you have and how are they conducted?

Our training programs include Off-JT and OJT. The Off-JT (off the job training) includes internal training by job title or by work type and external seminars by outside lecturers. They are conducted for the acquisition of skills and knowledge required to perform one’s duties. The OJT (on the job training) means training where trainees acquire required techniques, skills, knowledge, attitude, or values through actual work.

<Off-JT (off the job training)>

There are two types of training programs: one is an education program developed by the division in charge of internal education and personnel development and the other is participation in a program developed by an external training organization.
■ Internal training: This is conducted toward a qualification test that is conducted every three months and includes leadership training, communication training, and for data–based business management training.
■ External seminar: This includes participation in an external program, such as a workshop on chain store theory, and workshops with invited external lecturers.

<OJT (on the job training)>

A superior, who is a trainer, coaches his/her subordinate on operation, store knowledge, and education methods.
The superior also coaches them on communication methods, leadership, and data–based business management on the job through actual cases.
At regular regional meetings, employees analyze actual store conditions and figures with their superiors and seniors and learn how to solve problems.
