In October 2025, we held our first community dining event at "Enju Itabashi Yotsuba," a nursing care facility of our group located in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo.
As part of its community-based activities, Zensho Group is committed to providing meals at children's cafeterias.
This time, the event will be held as a "community cafeteria" to provide a place where people of all generations in the community, from children to adults, can gather.
An employee of Senior Senior Life Support Co., Ltd., which operates "Enju Itabashi Yotsuba",
"We planned this project with the desire to provide a place where people living near the facility can interact with each other across generations."
On that day, the space normally used as a dining area for the nursing home was opened up as a community dining hall.
It became a place where people of all ages could gather together.
Hot Gyudon were delivered from a nearby Sukiya and served with pickles, pudding, and drinks.
From children heartily enjoying Gyudon to seniors enjoying conversations with local residents and members of the facility.
It was evident that sharing a warm meal around the table naturally fostered smiles and interaction among the guests.
One participant who attended with their child said, "I saw the event poster while taking a walk with my child and thought it looked interesting, so I decided to participate. It was my first time using a venue like this, and I was happy that not only was the food delicious, but I could also eat with my child without having to prepare anything. I don't usually have many opportunities to interact with people in the community, so I think it's great to be able to communicate in a place like this."
Zensho Group will continue to engage in community-based activities by providing meals at children's cafeterias and local community cafeterias throughout Japan.
