Our founding brand, "Sukiya," has surpassed the milestone of 2,000 stores in Japan. We will continue to refine the quality of our stores and develop stores that are supported by local customers, while also aiming for further store openings. Overseas, we will expand our stores while promoting brand penetration in each region, such as East Asia and Southeast Asia.
"Hama-Sushi" is solidifying its position as one of Japan's top sushi brands, and is looking to expand into a wide range of countries and regions overseas. In addition to East Asia, where it is already expanding, it will also be expanding into various Southeast Asian countries.
In recent years, our overseas take-out sushi business has seen a complementary relationship between two sales channels: "kiosks" located within supermarkets and "commissioneries" that supply factory-made sushi to retailers. We will leverage this unique position, which allows us to utilize multiple sales channels, to further accelerate our expansion in Europe and the United States.
