Zensho Group upholds the management philosophy of "taking responsibility for the stability and development of human society through food, and eradicating hunger and poverty from the world," and is committed to providing safe and delicious food at affordable prices to people all over the world. Furthermore, at the beginning of the "Zensho Group Charter," which serves as the code of conduct for Zensho Group members, the "Zensho Group Declaration" states that through the development of its business, it aims to "realize a society in which all people are truly equal and can continue to develop in a sustainable and harmonious manner."

To realize its philosophy, Zensho Group is developing mass merchandising system globally, in which it plans, designs, and operates all processes from raw material procurement to manufacturing, processing, logistics, and sales at stores. It is working to create a system that can stably supply food to all people as a "food infrastructure."
In addition to its business development as a "food infrastructure," Zensho Group has been engaged in its own direct partnership-based fair trade since 2007. Currently, it trades coffee, tea, and other products with 24 countries in Asia, Africa, and other regions, and uses the "social development costs" generated from fair trade to carry out social development activities such as school construction, water supply facility development, and the advancement of women's status. Through these activities, the company aims to correct the developmental imbalances brought about by the negative aspects of capitalism and contribute to the realization of a sustainable world.

We will take responsibility for the impact our business activities have on the global environment. We will take action to ensure the sustainability of our business domain and the global environment itself through initiatives such as the conservation of natural resources and the utilization of food waste, which are closely related to our business domain, as well as the utilization of renewable energy.
Based on the idea that human resources are "human capital" that generates added value, we are committed to human resource development and creating a workplace environment where diverse talents can thrive. Furthermore, as a global company originating from Japan, in order to realize a society where multiple cultures coexist, we established the "Zensho Japanese Culture Center" in Kyoto City in July 2021, starting with the aim of deepening our understanding of our own culture. We will continue to advance our efforts toward multicultural coexistence.
