Delicious school lunches for healthy growth

As of 2022, there are six "Kagayaki Nursery School," company-sponsored childcare facilities available to employees working at Zensho Group stores and businesses.

As a nursery school run by Zensho Group, a "food company," Kagayaki Nursery School is particular about the meals and snacks it provides.

All of our kindergartens have kitchens and are staffed with qualified cooks and nutritionists to provide children with safe, delicious, homemade meals.

On July 7th, Tanabata, a special school lunch was served that was full of "Tanabata spirit," with ingredients shaped like stars in everything from soup and hamburgers to Milky Way sauté. Some kindergartens even served somen noodles shaped like the Milky Way.

This school lunch is made with the hope that "it will help children build up their bodies so they can withstand the summer heat by using plenty of vegetables that are in season during the summer, such as edamame and okra."

The children enjoyed decorating bamboo leaves and eating special Tanabata food, exclaiming things like, "It's so cute!" and "It's sparkly!"

The employee who prepared the school lunches said, "It's exciting to see the children enjoying their meals and savoring the food, so even though I get nervous every time I prepare special meals for events, it's really fun."
Kagayaki Nursery School will continue to create a comfortable working environment for its employees while nurturing the smiles of children.
