Now I can relax about both work and childcare.

On March 1st, events celebrating Hinamatsuri (Girls' Day) were held at each of Kagayaki Nursery School located in Ibaraki and Chiba prefectures.
The children and teachers all enjoyed the Hina Matsuri (Girls' Festival) by making Hina dolls and decorations, and eating food that resembled Hina dolls.

This is a scene from an on-site childcare facility operated by Zensho.
This time, we will introduce Zensho 's initiatives to create a workplace environment where everyone can work comfortably and to promote the advancement of female employees.

Zensho established Kagayaki Nursery School Ltd. in 2015.
"Kagayaki Nursery School" is a company-led childcare facility that receives subsidies from the government for its construction and operating costs.

Starting with "Kagayaki Nursery School Tsukuba," which opened in September of the same year, six other facilities have opened to date: "Ushiku," "Toride," "Mito," "Ishioka," and "Kashiwa."
Each location has a Zensho Group store nearby, such as "Sukiya" or "Coco's," and all employees, including part-time and temporary workers, can use it regardless of their working days.

Kagayaki Nursery School was established to meet the needs of working parents, such as those who "cannot work on weekends and holidays because they have no childcare options, although they can send their children to local nurseries on weekdays." Therefore, when it first opened, it was only open on weekends and holidays.
Since April 2016, they have also offered weekday childcare, making them open year-round. Opening hours are from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Both monthly childcare and temporary childcare services are available.
By creating a childcare environment that meets the needs of those who are already using our services and those who are considering working with us, we are contributing to creating a workplace where employees can work with peace of mind.

As Zensho is a food company, they are very particular about the meals and snacks provided at "Kagayaki Nursery School."
All of our facilities are equipped with kitchens and staffed with qualified cooks, nutritionists, and other culinary professionals to provide children with safe, delicious, homemade meals.

Some kindergartens even leverage the synergy of the group in terms of food procurement, such as sourcing ingredients from nearby Zensho Group supermarkets.

We will continue to work towards creating a comfortable working environment for our employees.
