As a newly-minted adult, I approach my work with a renewed sense of purpose.
In January 2020, we held a "Coming-of-Age Ceremony" to celebrate 12 new adults working at Zensho Business Service *.
* Zensho Business Service was established in 2012 as a special subsidiary of Zensho Group. Through the work commissioned by various companies within Zensho Group, it provides support for the independence and social participation of people with disabilities. The "Coming-of-Age Ceremony" is held annually with the aim of celebrating and encouraging new adults who are becoming aware of their independence and approaching their work with renewed enthusiasm.
This year, approximately 120 people attended the ceremony to celebrate the new adults, including senior and junior employees from Zensho Business Service, employees from the Group Human Resources Department, and members of the labor union.
Zensho Business Services President Kunii offered his congratulations, saying, "I hope that each of you will embrace a challenging spirit, strive to realize the person you want to be and become, and grow into a greater and more respectable adult."
The representative of the new adults, who received the commemorative gift, expressed his aspirations and gratitude, saying, "From now on, we will strive every day to be good role models for our juniors, as we continue to be respectable adults and members of society."
Zensho Business Service will continue to work on its daily tasks with the slogans of "An organization where everyone can take on challenges with all their might," "A strong team where everyone cares for, respects, and trusts one another," and "Having high aspirations and a passionate heart to become the person you want to be."
