Let's explore the world through the lens of "food."
Students from Kochi Prefectural Kochi Nishi High School visited Zensho Holdings.
Kochi Nishi High School, designated as a Super Global High School *, is working to cultivate global talent with the theme of "regional revitalization utilizing food."
Zensho employees explained how they plan to realize Zensho 's corporate philosophy of "eradicating hunger and poverty from the world" through their business, and together with the students, they exchanged opinions on global food issues from a global perspective.
The students presented their proposed regional revitalization model for Kochi Prefecture, which they had been researching.
How can local cuisine and landmarks be utilized to further revitalize the region? We identified the current problems and considered the most effective ways to appeal to the target audience.
The students were also very interested in "fair trade," one of Zensho 's business ventures.
By letting them sample the coffee we actually trade in, they seemed to feel a closer connection to fair trade.
Students shared comments such as, "We were able to see in detail the behind-the-scenes workings of a company that we don't usually get to see," "The employees greeted us cheerfully, and I thought the atmosphere was really great," and "I understood the importance of MMD *."
