Zensho Kagayaki Children's Foundation donates badminton equipment to children's welfare facilities.

The Zensho Kagayaki Children's Foundation ^* donated badminton rackets and shuttlecocks to the Elizabeth Saunders Home, a children's welfare facility in Kanagawa Prefecture, one of the foundation's activity areas.

*"General Incorporated Foundation Zensho Kagayaki Children's Foundation"...The purpose of the foundation is to support children living in social care, such as in children's homes, so that they can concentrate on their studies with enthusiasm without being inhibited from furthering their education or playing an active role in society, and to contribute to sound character development, with Zensho Holdings Co., Ltd. as the main body, in July 2019. A general incorporated foundation established by in July 2019.

Children's homes play the role of a "home" where children can live safely, securely, and comfortably, and where they can relax.

In response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, and with schools closed, children have had fewer opportunities to exercise. Zensho Kagayaki Children's Foundation has decided to donate 20 badminton rackets and 48 shuttlecocks so that children can have more fun while maintaining social distancing.

We received a request from a scholarship student living at the Elizabeth Saunders Home and attending school with a scholarship from Zensho Kagayaki Children's Foundation ^*, who said, "I haven't been getting enough exercise lately, so I would really like a badminton racket," which led to this donation.
